Article 3 of ODPA’s constitution states that the Association is established:

  1.   To give corporate identity to OD Practitioners
  2.   To Promote, foster and maintain the highest OD standards in Public and private sectors.
  3.  To promote the continuing education and intellectual growth of its members by encouraging and enlightening them to become professional OD practitioners.
  4. To promote the interest of and consider all issues affecting members.
  5.   To create a forum for the study of contemporary issues which relate to OD Practitioners
  6. To enhance the skills, competences and publicize the activities, skills and achievements of members.
  7.  To encourage members to participate actively in the affairs of the Association, undertake projects that will enhance the image of the Association.
  8. Regulate the etiquette, ethics, values, discipline, professional conduct and standards of its members.
